Dr. Anna M Valdez PhD, RN, PHN, CEN, CFRN, CNE, FAEN, FAADN

Dr. Valdez is the Chair of the Emergency Nurses Association DEI committee. She is a Professor and Chair of Nursing at Sonoma State University. Dr. Valdez worked 20 years stretcher-side as an emergency and transport nurse. She is nationally certified in emergency nursing, flight nursing, and nursing education. Dr. Valdez has served as an Associate Editor and Executive Editorial Board member for the Journal of Emergency Nursing. She is currently serving as the Editor in Chief for the Teaching and Learning in Nursing journal and as an international Editorial Board member for the Journal of Advanced Nursing.
