Ms. Ashlyn E Carey BA, BSN, RN, SANE, CNIII

Ashlyn Carey has been an emergency trauma nurse at Duke University Hospital for four years and serves as a member of the sexual assault nurse examiner team. Ashlyn assists as a resource for the SANE program, is a pediatric champion for the emergency department, and shares an interest in improving the care of behavioral health patients. She received a bachelor's degree from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duke University. While at Duke, she worked with the Palliative care program. During the completion of her student career published a paper exploring effectively measuring effective palliative care studies.
