Brittany hails from Livonia (Metro Detroit) MI and has been a nurse for nine years. She joined Stanford in 2019. She currently serves as chair of both the Quality and Education Councils and has been instrumental in the development on the QAN (Quality Assurance Nurse) role in the ED. She splits time in the emergency department as a clinical nurse and educator and works in primary care as an adult/geriatric nurse practitioner. Additionally, she is an EPIC Superuser, Safe Patient Handling Champion, and POCT Champion.
