Dr. Carolyn D Dixon DNP, MS, APRN, FNP-BC, CEN, TCRN

Dr. Dixon is the Emergency Department Nurse Educator at Staten Island University Hospital. With over 30 years in nursing (20 years in the ED) Dr. Dixon has extensive ED, leadership and critical care experience. She received her Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees from Wagner College, Staten Island, NY and holds specialty certifications in emergency and trauma nursing. Dr. Dixon has served on multiple national ENA committees to include: The Trauma Nursing Core Course (9th edition) revision team and is a current member of the ENA's Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee. She is also currently a Board Member at Large for the state of New York.
