David Pena MBA, MSN, RN

David Pena is the Field Advisor for Emergency Nursing for the Office of Nursing Services at the Veterans Affairs in Washington, DC. David has over 20 years of experience in emergency nursing and over 10 years of experience in management. After 26 years, Mr. Pena retired from the Army Reserves as an Army Corps Nurse. In the Army, David served as an ER, ICU, and Medical/Surgical nurse and commanded at the company and battalion (interim) levels in Milwaukee, WI. David served in one combat tour and multiple home station mobilizations.
