Dawn has been a nurse for over 30 years, the last 17 in Emergency care. Her current position is as a rural clinical instructor with Alberta Health Services. Dawn has a passion for global advocacy and advancing educational resources and opportunities. Dawn is a director for TNCC and an instructor for ENPC as well as a triage instructor for the Canadian Triage Acuity Scale (CTAS) course. She is the immediate past-president of the National Emergency Nurses Association (NENA) and is an editor for the Canadian Journal of Emergency Nursing. Her volunteerism is important, and she is an inaugural chair as an international member of an ENA committee.
