Dr. Deborah (Debbie) L McCrea EdD, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, CNS, CNE, CEN, CFRN, EMT-P

Debbie McCrea is an assistant professor at UTHealth-Houston and received her BSN, MSN-Emergency CNS, Emergency and Family NP also from UT. She was a prehospital CNS at the Houston Fire Department, a fixed wing flight nurse and taught EMS for 15 years. She is a prn case manager for a travel assistance company coordinating care including air evacuations and commercial repatriation. She recently completed an Educational Doctorate (EdD) in Professional Leadership in Health Science Education where her interest includes instructional technology and simulation in Mass Casualty Training. She still works clinically for DispatchHealth Mobile Urgent Care as an NP.
