Nursing Education Specialist, Community Health Network
As an emergency nurse of over 13 years, Emily has worked as a staff nurse, a ED Unit based educator and is currently a Nursing Education Specialist for Community Health Network in Indianapolis, IN. Emily is a TNCC, ENPC and AVADE instructor. Emily is also the 2025 president of ENA Chapter 134 and served on the 2022-2023 Conference Education Planning Committee. In her time as a nurse educator, Emily has worked to transform the onboarding processes to help grow new RNs into their role. She has also supported and participated in the development and instruction of a series of ED Core classes for new nurses that are working in ED’s across the Community Hospital Network. Emily always works to engage nurses in learning by finding innovative ways to teach through games and activities both in the classroom and stretcher-side settings.
