Geurt van de Glind is a mental health nurse with extensive experience in substance misuse practice and research. He has a master degree in nursing science and completed his PhD on the topic of ADHD and it's linkage with substance abuse. He served as the founder/first director of the International Collaboration on ADHD and Substance Abuse(ICASA) - an international research network. Currently he works as a senior researcher at the Institute for Nursing Studies of the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, the Netherlands, working on the research line 'patients with mental dysregulation in ambulance/ED care'.
