Megan A McCormick MSN, RN, CEN, CCRN-CSC, NE-BC

Megan has been a nurse for 18 years with a specialization in critical care, ED and trauma nursing and is currently the Nurse Manager of Operations at UNC Rex hospital in Raleigh, NC. She holds several certifications including CEN, CCRN-CSC and NE-BC and is in pursuit of a DNP. She has completed FEMA training for rapid decompression events for EDs reaching capacity and enjoys working with diverse groups to improve hospital and departmental operations with integration of data analytics and performance improvement principles. Megan’s change management skills and engagement with interdisciplinary teams has resulted in optimized throughput and improved outcomes for patients both ED and inpatient areas. She is a LEAN purple belt, ED consultant, JEN reviewer and is engaged in local and national ENA groups promoting excellence in nursing practice.
