Pediatric Trauma Clinical Reviewer, University of Michigan

Rebecca is the pediatric trauma clinical reviewer for the C.S. Mott Pediatric Trauma Program focusing on performance improvement and patient safety. Prior to this role, she had worked in pre-hospital, emergency, and burn/trauma departments since 2002, caring for and serving a diversity of patients of all ages in rural and urban settings across several states. Rebecca attained her BSN from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her MSN from Texas Tech University, and is currently working toward her DNP at the University of Michigan. In addition to her work at C.S. Mott, Rebecca volunteers for the American Burn Association (ABA), Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing, and Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) and is active with the Michigan State Council. She serves as an item writer for the Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) certification exam. When she’s not working or volunteering you can find Rebecca traveling, hiking, being outdoors, or spending time with her dogs, cats, or cockatiel.
