Rosanna Hastings is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Advanced Heart Failure for Bon Secours Mercy Health in Richmond, VA. Rosanna became a nurse in 2008 and spent the majority of her bedside years in the Emergency Department where she developed a passion for cardiology. She pursued her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at the University of Virginia, becoming dual-certified as both a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Practitioner. Rosanna began practicing as a nurse practitioner in inpatient cardiology in 2016 and found her home in advanced heart failure in 2022. She loves the problem-solving and attention to detail that her job requires to help improve the quality of life of her patients and provide them with opportunities they otherwise would not have. Rosanna feels the best part of cardiology is that there is always something new to learn, and she strives to be a lifelong learner while also helping educate others.
