Dr. Scott Hilliard is the Director of Nursing for Emergency Services at Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida - a 2023-2026 Lantern Award recipient. With more than two decades of service in emergency nursing and team leadership, Dr. Hilliard empowers frontline team members to practice at the top of their license through professional certification, shared governance and staff development. Dr. Hilliard is an innovative nurse and operational leader with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Dr. Hilliard is a 2013 American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) Nurse Manager Fellow alumni and a lifetime member of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).
