Valerie Austin is the Director of Emergency Services at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also the proud parent of a transgender child who is currently enrolled in nursing school! Valerie has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and Nurse leader with 15 of those years being in Emergency Nursing.
