Yvonne Carroll BSN, JD

Yvonne Carroll is a former ED nurse and educator. She is currently the Director of Programs in the Department of Hematology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Yvonne's extensive research on SCD over the past 25 years has led to numerous publications in esteemed peer-reviewed journals. She has made significant contributions to various professional organizations and has received numerous accolades and awards for her work in sickle cell. She is a sought-after speaker both nationally and internationally and is the co-founder of the Sickle Cell Nursing in Excellence Train the Trainer bootcamp which has trained nurses in twenty-three states and nine countries in evidence-based care of people with SCD. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Tennessee and her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati.
